This is an important meeting for the Clay County Board of Commissioners where the County Manager, Debbie Mauney will present the proposed budget for 2026-27.A copy of the proposed budget will be available for public review in the Administration Office beginning June 1 and remaining available until the budget is officially passed, likely at the July meeting. The Administration Office, located below the Health Department, is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

We encourage community members who have the time and interest to visit the Administration Office and review the proposed budget. Take notes, share your thoughts through a letter to the editor or social media, and consider preparing comments for the next County Commissioners meeting.
