Clay County Democratic Party Monthly Meeting

We look forward to seeing you Tuesday where will have a representative from the Board of Elections answering questions as well as a meet and greet opportunity for Marcy Fuerch who is the Unaffiliated candidate for the Clay County Board of Education.

Unfortunately, School Board Chair Jason Shook has recently notified us that he will be unable to serve as our guest speaker at Tuesday’s meeting. After giving the matter careful consideration, Jason has decided to withdraw because of concerns about maintaining consistency and fairness in his public speaking commitments. We respect his decision and appreciate his willingness to have been our guest. We apologize for the late change and appreciate everyone’s understanding.

All community members are invited to attend our monthly meeting at our Clay County Headquarters Office at 568 Tusquittee Street in Hayesville. We meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

• 5:30 PM – Board of Elections representative available to answer questions
• 6:00 PM – Meet and greet for Marcy Fuerch – candidate for the Clay County Board of Education
• 6:30 PM (approx.) – Business meeting.  The business portion of the meeting is open for all to attend if they wish.

NOTE: Parking is limited directly in front of our HQ building.  Here are a few guidelines for parking:

First to arrive please angle park with your nose in the left corner in the front of the HQ building. Next cars should park parallel to that and four or five cars will fit that way. If those spaces are taken, please use the parking on the far side of the red roof building, “D&S Custom Leather”, and pull toward the back (within red square in parking image below).  Please do not park directly in front of that building (marked with an X in the image below).
