Building Community

Join us on Sunday, October 6th, at 4:00 PM at the Corner Coffee Shop for “Building Community.” This event is a chance for us to come together in a safe and supportive environment to discuss our biggest concerns about the upcoming election season and explore ways to address them. This month’s meeting will focus on the subject of Voter Suppression. We will also have postcards for attendees to write to try to encourage left leaning voters to show up at the polls.
Michelle Maloney guides us in this moderator-led collaborative community event that aims to amplify community voices and generate innovative avenues forward. Our objectives include identifying actionable ideas that we can pursue throughout the evolving election season.
If you are so inclined you may bring a light refreshment, juice, or wine to share! Also, a one dollar or two donation would be appreciated toward the venue expense. Bring a pen!
